Pergas Investment Holdings Pte Ltd (PIH) was set up in 2003 to manage the properties owned by Singapore Islamic Scholars and Religious Teachers Association (Pergas).
PIH has gradually evolved over the years into a social enterprise to meet the needs and demands of the local Muslim community.
As the business arm of Pergas, PIH has created several income streams through developing new businesses in order to remain financially sustainable in the long run.
The nature of each business must be sustainable and profitable and at the same time has a social and religious impact element to it.
This aligns with Pergas’ and PIH’s constitution of the development of the asatizah (religious teachers) and serving the Muslim community as a whole.
