	MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

	• Above l8 years of age, be of good character. • Singapore citizens/Permanent Residents / Long-term employment pass holders. • Is not a member of any other co-operative society whose primary objective is to grant loans to the members unless approved by the Advisory Committee. • Is not legally or mentally disabled. • Is not an undischarged bankrupt. • Has not been convicted of any offence punishable with imprisonment.

	TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

	Ordinary • Any working adult above the age of l8 years old. • Every member shall each hold a minimum of 10 shares and shall subscribe a minimum of S$30.00 to the Capital Savings, subject to By-law 4.7 (c). There shall be no maximum. • Every member is also required to pay a one time registration fee of S$l0.00 which is non-refundable. Participating • Retirees, housewives and students • Every member shall each hold a minimum of 10 shares. • Shall not pay the monthly Capital savings as prescribed under By-law 9.5.1. • Every member is also required to pay a one time registration fee of S$10.00 which is non-refundable.

	HAJ AND UMRAH SAVINGS

	*Haj* • Administration fee of $35.00 is non-refundable. • A minimum period of one-year savings is required. • A surcharge of $20 for cancellation of any savings scheme. • A savings plan for a total sum of $10,000 for Haj. • Members can choose the desired savings plan. • Monthly contributions will be rounded up to whole values. • Zakat payments will be deducted from savers accounts once reaching Nisab and Haul.


	*Umrah* • Administration fee of $35.00 is non-refundable. • A minimum period of one-year savings is required. • A surcharge of $20 for cancellation of any savings scheme. • A savings plan for a total sum of $3,000 for Umrah. • Members can choose the desired savings plan. • Monthly contributions will be rounded up to whole values. • Zakat payments will be deducted from savers accounts once reaching Nisab and Haul.
